ASCE teamed up with Central Florida Engineers’ Week, SWE, and the following FIRST teams: Exploding Bacon, HCECF-Apopka, HCECF-Deland, and the Super 7. FIRST is a nationwide student competition for students interested in STEM subjects. Part of the competitions is how the team of students SHARES the knowledge that they have gained with the public. Many teams present to students and adults through their schools, religious organizations, sport teams, scouting groups, parent’s work, and civic groups. Each of the students teams created two videos with students their own age as their target audience to promote engineering education. Each of these video recieved over 200 hits within 3 months so check the videos out and let us know what you think!
