Dear Fellow Engineers and ASCE Members,

Welcome to the ASCE East Central Branch website! I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th weekend celebrating our independence day. I am proud to inform you all that all the wonderful community and professional service activities performed by our branch committees and volunteers have been recognized at the state level as well as national level by ASCE. Here are our branch’s awards for the current year:

• 2010 Younger Member Group Award for Large Branches

• Loreen Bobo – Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement at the 2010

 

Florida Section Awards

• Branch of the Year - Large Branch

• Thomas Caffery – Engineer of the Year

• Catherine Soistman – Young Engineer of the Year

• Bryan Paul – Student Outstanding Service

• Rafiqul Chowdhury – Graduate Student of the Year

Congratulations to all the award winners and our dedicated member-volunteers in making our branch the best in our State and one of the best in our nation. I want to inform you of two important events happening in July. Please plan on attending these events and network with your fellow engineers.
